Well I had good news this week. After spending a whole lot of time and energy getting art work done for the Juried student show here at the Gettysburg college gallery, I discovered that all three of the works that I entered had been accepted, which was really cool. The opening was also very cool. It is amazing how much work shows up that you have never seen before, or that you had seen other people working on in various stages. All in all it was just a good way to have all of that work rewarded.
As for the rest of things, well I am not sure that it can get much crazier than it is at the moment. with Olympic Trials in two weeks from today, it is really crunch time, although if it hasn't been accomplished by now, chances are that it is too late. I am looking forward to the event, which promises to be spectacular. Fingers crossed that we have a good weekend of weather. Between training and the last three weeks of school, things are defiantly getting a little hectic, and I am actually looking forward to the week of training before Trials as a little bit of a break in the grind.
Other than that things are going well. Dodge and I went on a crazy run yesterday, which was great, but like I said a little crazy! Any we finally seem to be getting to real spring, although the days have been gray with the exception of a spectacular day yesterday, it is getting warmer, and feeling like it is almost time to run off into the world of summer! We will keep you posted on developments, especially during Trials!
Cheers!
Nic
