The course was a breath of fresh air, in that it was very ease and flowed amazingly well. However despite that, people were defiantly trying to race the course too much and were trying to cut lines with some entertaining consequences. As for us in the C2... We had two really good solid runs, and were extremely consistent, if a little slow, but we did a great job of being on line the whole time and the flow of our runs were very good. It was defiantly nice to have a chance to just run a relatively brainless race.
The only thing that is a big pain at Dickerson is the lack of warmup space, which makes it hard to feel good about starting your run. Never the less their very informal start was really nice because it allowed you to begin your run when you were ready and facing any direction. All in all it was a good race, despite the cold. Now with a few weekends of much needed normalice and no travel, we are just going to sit back and flow on through Trials. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Charlotte!
